Abstract
This paper presents the goal of the anti buckling support frame design of ancient architecture being: in frequent intensity, the major structure and the anti buckling support of the ancient architecture maintain elasticity, in the fortification intensity, the anti buckling support yields and plays energy dissipation mechanism, the major structure remaining elastic, some components of the major structure being in elastic-plastic in rare intensity earthquake, the anti buckling support further yields to increase the energy dissipation effect, the major structure remaining standing, so as to achieve the damping effect of ancient buildings.
