EMC standards activity

Continuing its unbroken workshop presence just before the IEEE EMC Society symposium, the C63® workshops this year were held the Friday and Saturday, March 13–14, 2015, before the Santa Clara symposium which was at the convention center in the heart of Silicon Valley. There were 18 students that participated in the two workshops offered. The first day and a half was to present the C63.10 (Testing Unlicensed Wireless Devices) and the draft of C63.26 (Testing of Transmitters Used in Licensed Radio Services) standards. The afternoon of the second day noted the major differences between the 2014 edition and the 2009 edition of C63.4 (Measurement of Radio-Noise Emissions from Low-Voltage Electrical and Electronic Equipment in the Range of 9 kHz to 40 GHz).
