China Unicom: Education informatization

Education informatization is an important part of China\´s national informatization. The primary task of education informatization is to enhance the educational administration and teaching management by integrating educational resources and tightening home-school connections using information tools. The technological advances of information and communications introduced new opportunities for the further development of education informatization. The application of "all classes equipped with information resources", which is deployed by China Unicom, is a typical example.
