Abstract :
IS THE EU going to take Google to court for alleged abuses relating to Google´s Android mobile phone operating system? While it is understandable that Google wants to reduce fragmentation in the Android system – the lack of harmonisation is the main reason why software developers and many customers prefer Apple´s iOS – it has also drawn attention from the EU´s competition regulators.
