Abstract :
A low conduction loss, low-cost zero-voltage-transition-pulsewidth modulation (ZVT-PWM) boost converter with a zero current switching (ZCS) auxiliary circuit is developed to achieve high-conversion-efficiency operation. The unique locations of the resonant capacitor and inductor ensure that low switching stress and commutation losses are obtained in this converter. It is very suitable for high power-factor-correction pre-regulators
