Abstract :
It has been proved that full-rate complex orthogonal space-time block codes do not exist for systems with more than two transmit antennas. In this paper, we present a space-time block coding scheme based on cyclic design. The proposed codes provide full rate and full diversity for quaternary phase shift keying (QPSK) symbols in systems with three or four transmit antennas.
