Abstract
A description is given of the history of New Jersey Network (WNJN, the New Jersey state public television system), the decision to convert the system to MTS stereo, the goals of the technical improvement program, and representative test results. The author discusses origination, production, switching, microwave relay systems, transmitter conversion and interfacing, and off-air monitoring facilities for MTS stereo, including analog and digital SAP transmission
