Abstract :
Multiwavelength channel NRZ to RZ format conversion using a single semiconductor laser amplifier is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Bit-error-rate measurement of four 10 Gbit/s converted RZ signal channels has confirmed that no noticeable error floor existed
