Abstract :
The author presents a discussion of the original paper ("Gaming and price spikes in electric power markets", X. Guan et al.), stating that the analytic framework outlined provides an interesting premise that could very well be extended potentially in many directions including transmission, reserve, entry decisions, etc. The authors seeks further elaboration on several parts of the paper and the original authors\´ responses to these discussions are also included.
