Abstract
In this paper the convergence of the iterative BEM formulation for the 2-D nonlinear eddy current problems, in which both location and time dependency of permeability are considered, is investigated. An adaptively damped iteration method with incremental loading technique and adaptive starting is proposed, by which a good convergence of the iterative BEM formulation can be ensured
