Abstract
Computation of electromagnetic fields in waveguide junctions containing anisotropic media is an important practical problem, in the area of microwave simulation and design. In this paper, vector finite elements, combined with a modal expansion scheme, are used for the efficient computation of field quantities in an anisotropically filled junction and its scattering parameters
