Abstract :
A difference method for the solution of the two-dimensional electrodynamic problem in a magnetohydrodynamic field is presented. An exponential fitting is utilised for the discrete formulation of the problem. A multigrid technique is adopted. The method developed converges fastly and yields an accurate approximation of the solution of the problem
