Abstract
In this paper new high order edge elements are presented to compute a three-dimensional electromagnetic cavity loaded with dielectric materials. It is found that interpolation functions of edge elements are derived from those of nodal elements. It is shown that applying new elements to finite element method, the divergence free condition is satisfied in a weak formulation. Therefore all spurious modes are eliminated clearly. Numerical results describe the efficiency of our new elements. Finally the three-dimensional cavity problem of a microwave oven is presented
