Abstract :
This paper presents a detailed account of recent results on stability and robust stability of multivariate polynomials, First, a new stability concept is introduced. Then, it is shown that polynomials stable in this new sense have many properties that are known to hold for Hurwitz stable univariate polynomials. Finally, basic robust stability results for such polynomials are presented
