Abstract :
To develop a hybrid magnetic bubble memory with a storage density of 16 Mb/cm2 or more, an investigation is being made into the properties of ion-implanted propagation tracks with bubbles of 0.5 μm in diameter and permalloy propagation tracks. This article reports on the adjustment of operating bias magnetic fields in ion-implanted and permalloy propagation tracks, as well as the characteristics of permalloy tracks at extended periods (4 - 20 μm).
