This paper presents head-medium spacing measurements for longitudinal recording using the triple harmonic ratio method. The head-medium spacing change is calculated using the readback signal and compared with the slider design flying height at the pole tip. The variation of head-medium spacing using the triple harmonic ratio method is calculated. The stability of the measurement is assessed
