Abstract :
We have developed a new small, flexible magnetic-disk recording system which has the largest areal density (672 Mbit/sqin) in FDD formats and a 18 Mbit/sec maximum user data transfer rate. This is a new card size flexible disk drive (CFDD) format using a 1.75-inch disk on which 146 Mbytes of data can be stored
