  • Abstract
Magnetic properties of Heusler-type Fe2VAl1-xInx(0 les x les 0.2) alloys have been investigated. We have observed an increase in magnetization with indium concentration. Low temperature M-H curve for x = 0 composition seems to exhibit ferromagnetic-like behavior, magnetic ordering temperature has not been observed in M-T curve. However, the development of spontaneous magnetization and enhancement of magnetic ordering temperature with increasing indium concentration is evident from present observations. Besides, temperature dependence of magnetization data could be fitted to Bloch´s law for the samples x = 0.03 and 0.2, providing additional support to our conclusions
