  • Abstract
    An endurance test was performed on a 3.5-inch floppy disk media of particulate Ba-ferrite film at room temperature under normal humidity conditions. Head contact was established more than 10 million times without any reduction in output being exhibited, demonstrating that this is a media with very good endurance and stable characteristics. Ba-ferrite media exhibit small pressure demagnetization and stable endurance with respect to temperature variation, confirming that it is an excellent material for magnetic recording media.
