Abstract :
Novel HGMS filters have been used to separate dextran-iron labeled human blood and bone marrow cells. Tetrameric antibody complexes for CD8 and CD34 were used for the magnetic labeling. Normalized wire array and process parameters were used to describe the recovery experimental result. Purity was examined using nonmagnetic collision mechanisms. Additional construction details of the filters are given to what has been published previously. A number of experiments with different separation conditions are described which may be of use for difficult biological separation applications
