Abstract :
Optimization of the magnetic properties of small output parametric motor materials was studied. Six motors with various combinations of permalloy, ferrites, and silicon steel of the same physical dimensions were fabricated. The authors conclude that isotropic materials, such as ferrite, which easily reaches magnetic saturation, are favorable for the common magnetic circuits, while materials with high saturated flux density, such as silicon steel plate, are appropriate for the excitation magnetic circuits.
