Abstract
The author discusses various implications for magnetics of the new framework which unites classical and quantum physics. For instance, it is noted that, in conventional physics, the magnetic interaction which must occur between electrons represented as current vortex rings has been ignored, and that this interaction, together with the requirement for the absence of singularities in electron wave functions, leads to the Pauli principle. Elsewhere, the author notes that Larmor precession about a hyperfine magnetic field may contribute to the Faraday rotation effect.
