Abstract :
Seeming to heed the call of western diplomats, bureaucrats and politicians, the Chinese government has begun to take a tougher stance toward IP (intellectual property) protection. Chinese companies and inventors have now grasped the importance of IP legislation. The expected rise of China´s own IP industry means companies will need to look more closely at the country´s patent databases to avoid accidental infringement
