Abstract :
A simple systematic approach to calculating convolution integrals involving piecewise continuous functions is presented as an alternative to the method involving step-function representations. (Goldberg et al., "A systematic method for the analytical evaluation of convolutional integrals", see ibid., vol.45, p.65-69, 2002.) In the approach described herein, the limits of each fixed-function segment are used to define the minimum number of integrals that must be calculated
