  • Abstract
    The design of a new digital microphone using an optical technique is described. An interdigital photoconductive detector is explained and a new optical scanner is designed for this microphone. The important parameters for developing a digital microphone are presented, followed by the required modifications to obtain a digital transducer for the measurement of very small angles, displacements or pressure
