Abstract
In this paper we present an alternative approach to continuous time integrated analog filtering, the current mode wave active topology. This paper deals with the use of lossy first-order integrators to simulate simple unbalanced LC ladder prototypes. By using a different analysis of the prototype filters, a different type of integrated simulation is possible. A number of features distinguish these simulations from traditional OTAC simulations. Theoretical and practical aspects are discussed, together with a few preliminary measured results
