Guest editorial: Growth of communications

Communications will continue to grow and the prediction is ventured that the IRE by its close tie to this field will attain a membership of 100,000 by 1964, with an annual publication of 2,5OO pages of IRE Proceedings, 15,000 pages of IRE Transactions, and 5,000 pages of IRE National, West Coast and Canadian Convention Records. PCGS is expected to have 10,000 members by that time and will have published a cumulative total of 3,000 pages in its Transactions.
