Abstract :
This paper identifies a method of choosing good locations for the virtual sources in the MFS solutions when full region eddy current problems are to be solved. Expressions for determining the distance between the auxiliary surface where the virtual sources are located and the true conductor surface are developed for a broad range of frequencies. These expressions can provide highly accurate results with minimum requirement of computer power
