Abstract
A range-energy proton spectrometer for OV1-13 is described. It uses a stack of solid-state detectors and absorbers plus a dE/dx detector. Logic identifies the last detector in sequence to record a signal, but only if the dE/dx signal is appropriate. The geometrical factor is 1.0 Ã 10-2 cm2-ster; energy bin-widths are approximately 35%.
