Abstract
CoO/NiO antiferromagnetic superlattices are applied to exchange layers of spin-valve multilayers. With optimization of substrate temperature and superlattice period, 4% GMR ratio was obtained and large exchange anisotropy field of exchange layers was induced. From the technological point of view, effects of patterning spin-valve films on MR properties were also studied
