Abstract :
We present and experimentally demonstrate an optical beamformer for the receive mode based on optical summation and dispersive fiber. This architecture allows a high number of simultaneous beams without multiplying the number of active elements. The incoherent optical summation based on wavelength division multiplexing is analyzed in term of RF dynamic range and validated by experiments
