Abstract :
The provision of adequate radio coverage in mobile radio systems always results in the creation of overlapping areas where signals originating from more than one transmitter can be received. The probability of coverage in the overlapping area of N radio transmitters is derived when the mobile radio channel is characterised by Rayleigh/lognormal fading statistics and without the presence or interferers
