  • Abstract
    An improved adaptive GOP structure (IAGS) is introduced. It significantly reduces the computational complexity of adaptive GOP structure (AGS), and fixes the problem of the jitter of temporal decomposition delay in AGS. The experimental results show that IAGS has almost the same coding performance as AGS
