Abstract :
The magnetoresistance of Ni-Fe-Co+M (M= Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Cu, Ag, Nb) films evaporation-deposited at a substrate temperature of 350°C was studied. By adding a fourth element, the film magneto-resistance is decreased, especially when Cr is added. The results show that the decrease corresponds well with the change in saturation magnetization by adding the fourth element. The thermal stability of the magnetoresistance curve is improved slightly by the addition of Nb.
