Abstract
Fe/Cr multilayer films, [Fe (21Ã
)-Cr (13Ã
)]Ã30, were deposited on MgO (100) single crystal and glass substrates by vacuum evaporation, with the substrate temperature varied. The resistivity under zero field was smallest, and the magnetic contribution was largest, for samples prepared with the substrate temperature between 150°C and 200°C, which accordingly exhibited the largest magnetoresistive change below 3 kOe (6% at room temperature, 20% at 77K).
