Abstract :
Medical MR imaging techniques have come into wide use in routine clinical examinations. In addition to the anatomical and structural information obtained for use in clinical diagnoses, other new information, such as functional and dynamical data, is also becoming available. New features are being added by the technique called as fast- and ultra-fast imaging, MR angiography and 3D-volume imaging. For the development of such new techniques, precise control of the magnetic field gradient and rf pulses are required. The flexibility and variability of NMR pulse sequences are utilized to improve the MR imaging method and extend it into new fields of application.
