Abstract
A nonmechanical, completely electronic scheme for measuring the instantaneous electrically developed shaft torque of electrical machines is proposed. The method, which can be applied to all conditions of operation and all types of electrical machines, utilizes the two basic laws: T = Ki¿ and ¿ = ¿(e - ri) dt.
