Abstract :
MR. D. A. TILT, Grad. I.P.E. (Chairman), said that Dr. Anderson might be included in the first rank as a production engineer, because as he had mentioned in his address, " A production engineer is the man who takes hold of the raw material and turns it into the finished article." If graduates did not object to being called " raw material," at an early date they might become the finished article. Dr. Anderson\´s theory as to what a production engineer was, would at any rate give scope for argument amongst the senior members.
