Abstract :
A simple circuit of series-inverter using a bridge of reverse-conducting thyristors with the load connected outside the bridge is introduced and analysed. Some advantages of this circuit such as the low rate of rise of forward voltage of thyristors , the easier design method , and the limitation of voltages of circuit elements and semiconductor-devices are also discussed.
