Abstract
This paper describes an efficient procedure, based on the wavelet technique, to extract an accurate solution, starting from the finite-difference time-domain results obtained by using a coarse discretization of the computational domain. The proposed approach leads to an important reduction of the computational time and resources. The new method is tested in the analysis of the voltage and current wave propagation in a transmission line.
