Abstract :
An extensive boundary element method code has been developed to calculate Laplacian field distributions in axially symmetric, multielectrode, multidielectric systems and extended to cases where space charges produced by the developing discharge are sufficiently large to distort the applied field. Experience with using these codes to evaluate surface fields and to model discharge development is reported
