  • Abstract
    A waveform equalizer for equalizing the reflection and transmission distortion of the signal generated when transmitting the MUSE (multiple subNyquist sampling encoding) signal through a CATV (cable television) network and the equalization control software for controlling this equalizer are described. The equalization characteristics of the system were investigated by computer simulation, an equalization experiment in a baseband system, and a MUSE signal transmission equalization experiment in the CATV network. Simulation results are discussed in detail
