Abstract :
A knowledge-based simulation that models a modern home data communication network using the new CEBus procedures and protocols contained in the CEBus Standard is described. The tool used is Intellicorp´s Knowledge Engineering Environment (KEE), augmented with their Simulation Kit (SimKit) and Queuing Library (QLIB). Object-oriented representation issues are discussed, as well as the resulting structure of the CEBus model
