Abstract :
An integrated video output amplifier intended to drive the cathode ray tube (CRT) in IDTV sets and monitors is described. The circuit is realized in a high-voltage (250 V) DMOS/bipolar process and operates with a 200-V power supply. Bandwidth reaches 20 MHz for a 100 Vpp output signal, and slew rate is better than 4 V/ns for a 100 Vpp output square wave. Black level control is provided by a cathode current monitoring system. Special protections to prevent any ESD and CRT flashover overvoltages are built in
