Abstract :
The symmetry properties and the zero-state accessibility conditions for second-order fixed-point coupled-form digital filters with two or four roundoff quantizers are derived. The stability regions for different values of the asymmetry parameter k are determined and compared with those for the normal coupled form (k =1) and for the direct form
