Abstract :
A run-length limited (RLL) code for high density optical storage system is presented. The density ratio of the code is 1.67, which is larger than that of EFMPlus code used for DVD systems. The fix-length (4, 18) RLL code with code rate m/n=1/3 is attractive for storage systems.
