Abstract
This paper describes an integrated circuit chip set* designed for low-cost transmission of analog and digital data. The system provides remote motion control capability and is designed for home computer or microprocessor control applications. The control system is based on a multichannel serial bus concept and uses pulse-position modulation (PPM) for information transfer. The input and output of the system interface directly with a home or personal computer.
