Abstract :
The feedback stabilization of a multichannel linear, time-invariant system is considered. The channels have been ordered in terms of criteria such as dependability, cost, ease of implementation, etc. A simple algorithm is presented which causes the preferred channels to assume more of the burden of stabilization.
