Abstract
Analytic formulas describing the noise performance due to white noise of two SC-integrator structures using simple and more sophisticated OTA models are presented. It is shown that an oversimplified modeling can lead to underestimating as well as to overestimating the noise effects. The formulas suggest design rules for reducing the noise in the integrator structures. The numerical analysis of a second-order filter indicates that these design rules also hold for more complex structures using the mentioned integrators
