Abstract :
An algorithm for determining the number of roots of a given polynomial in the right-half plane and on the imaginary axis with the help of Routh-Hurwitz array, when the first few, but not all, elements of a row in Routh array turn out to be zero, is presented. The algorithm is illustrated with the help of an example.
